Redwood National and State Parks – TFN

It’s Painting with a Ranger, join in for a family friendly painting workshop to learn about the redwoods through artistic expression and take your very own painting home with you, it’s every 2nd Saturday of the Month, at Prairie Creek Redwoods state Park.

Farmer’s Market – 10-03-24

There are Farmer’s Markets again this year, on Wednesdays, 9am to 2pm on the corner of Front Street and K Streets, Also, on Saturday’s, it’s the Crescent City Farmer’s Market, from 9am to 1:30p at the Crescent City Harbor. Both markets go until October. The Country Market at the fairgrounds will not take place this year.

Summer Food Program – Brookings/Harbor – 07-25-24

The Summer Food Program is back for Brookings/Harbor kids ages 1 to 18, starting July 8th and going through July 25th, lunch starts at 11a goes to 12:30p with breakfast bag to go, to find out more call 541-469-2108 ext 8.

It’s the Summer Concerts at Azalea Park in Brookings, 1pm, Sundays, it’s FREE and Family Friendly with Food Concession, Wednesday, June 19th, Fortunate Gold; June 30th, Afro Blue Grazz Band; July 7th, Jessie G; July 21, Judd Hoos; July 28th, Tom Rigney and Flambeau; Aug 11th, Rogue Suspects; Aug 18th, Great American Train Wreck; and wraps up with California Country on Sept 1st.

Del Norte DMV – TFN

The Del Norte DMV will be reducing in office transactions. The DMV is modernizing, and anything that can be done online, you will need to utilize the DMV website.

Mary Peacock Fundraiser – 06-14-24

Mary Peacock School is having a fundraiser, thanks to McDonalds, on Friday, June 14th, from 5p to 8p, all the proceeds will be going to Mary Peacock PTO, show your support for the kids and Mary Peacock PTO.

Crescent City Emblem 175 – 06-15-24

CASA Golf Tournament – 06-15-24

The Casa annual Chip in for Kids Golf Tournament is June 15th at the Del Norte Golf Course. Funds raised go to support abused and neglected children in Del Norte County. Register now by going online to casadn.org.

College of the Redwoods – 06-18-24

The College of the Redwoods are closing the campus will be closed Tuesday, June 18th and Wednesday, June 19th. Normal summer hours will resume, Thursday, June 20th, but will be closed on the following Friday, June21st.
